The southern part of Nigeria’s native dishes are known for having lots of sea foods because this region is located at the coast of the Atlantic Ocean. There are 6 states that collectively make up the south south zone of Nigeria.

AKWA IBOM/CROSS RIVER STATE LOCAL DISHES
The traditional dishes of the Akwa Ibom and Cross River people are somewhat similar,since they are commonly referred to as sister tribes.
- Abak Atama
- Ekpang Nkwukwo
Plant cocoyam leaves in your compound. It is very easy to grow and they do not require any special care to grow.
BAYELSA STATE LOCAL DISH
Tip 2: Do not cook beef, chicken, snails, periwinkle, crayfish, stock fish and smoked fish at the same time.
RIVER STATE LOCAL DISH

Tip 3: Green leaves and corn starch can be used as thickeners in soups.
DELTA STATE LOCAL DISH
Tip 4: Reduce cost by using two or three protein sources. Crayfish and smoked fish can be mandatory, while stockfish, kpomo, beef, etc can be remain optional.
